Wordpress Fail {You don't win yet}

Hi all,

Well this is awkward but not unexpected! 

Moving to Wordpress, all by myself, has just been sooooo much fun..

Kinda like deciding to stop shaving and using an epilady.

Yep, all snorts and giggles until someone gets hurt...or totally stuffs up the blogger to WP move.

Hooray!  Just clicked on the link and it actually works!

Please excuse the layout and lack of new posts, I have managed to delete 3.

Goodness knows what I have done wrong but hopefully, with about 50 thousand tweaks, I should be up and running.

Please hang in there as I update {again...} my links and RSS feed.

I'm moving to Wordpress {please visit}

Okay, it's time to bite the bullet and just do it...

I've moved to a self hosted, Wordpress site.

It hasn't been easy as I've chosen the frugal, DIY option. 

Keeping in mind I still have a healthy fear of power tools and Google+... I'm sure there will be a few glitches.

I cannot believe it's New Years Eve already... says every person around the globe, even those sneaky cheats who are Pinning Valentines day craft already!

Normally this is a single, ageing gals social Mecca, 

Their catnip...

An excuse to let their hair down, shave their legs...moisturise.

Get all crazy and with it like that.

 

Well in a deliberate effort to remain single and thwart any attempts to mingle, meet and greet and enjoy company other than my own...I'm staying home.

 

Watching a cheap Itunes download, eating Chinese and feeling anxious about my decision to buy my own domain and change this blog to Wordpress.

 

I'll keep you posted.

 

In the meantime, New Years resolutions abound...

Christmas Day {I made the good list}

Full to the pussy's bow, stuffed, replete, done like a dinner...

A hot, roasted, turkey dinner and pudding and a second helping of pudding.

Because I'm all into testing my elastic shorts over the jolly season.

Yes, they were the classy elastic banded short, complete with button so as not to look elastic related.  They even required the gentle touch of a hot iron.

Shut up...I know!

Santa visited in spectacular form and managed to lug a fluro green kayak in his slay. 

He obviously bumped the frivolous stuff {children's toys, world peace] to make way for my present.

Not that I have any means of moving the kayak from the back yard to the river...Santa {AKA awesome Sister} and I have had words.

Next year I get a roof rack/handsome man to lug the kayak for me...{roof rack optional}

Either way is a win win situation though there is an open debate regarding refund status :)

Otherwise, Christmas day was all around brilliant.

No under/over cooked food
No embarrassing drunk uncles
A happy, small, white dog who totally disgraced herself in the blow up pool
No dud gifts/re gifting in an obvious way
Perfect weather
Happy children who innately know how to use an Ipad/Ipod...freaky but helpful
All of my favourite people in one spot
And a sufficient amount of potentially embarrassing photos of people wearing fake moustaches from their Christmas crackers...

Today is Boxing Day...a day of leftovers and sales!  The kind of sales that make you  wish you hadn't spent so much pre Christmas.

Though I may have warmed my credit card just a smidgen.

For world peace, not a roof rack...

How was your day?  Are you as sick of the sight of food as I am...but continue to eat it anyhow....

Christmas Count Down {Checking my list twice...ish}

Christmas in seven short sleeps...not that I'm counting.

 

But I am making lists and checking them twice...ish.

Then crossing them out and rewriting them...then stressing that I've forgotten something.
